Covering some ground

April - Right before our 2 1/2 month trip to the States

These are some of the people that joined Victoria the week before we left.

We also had Baptisms the last Sunday.

Missions conference - children around the world

Our reporting trip to the mid-west and west:
April through Mid-June
Devil's Tower
Even though it was a busy trip with our visiting 23 churches,
we were privileged to be able to see some beautiful things as well.

The Rocky Mountains
Judah hadn't seen snow since he was four months old.
Mercy never had seen it.

Fishin' with Gran'pa

We got back in the middle of June.
Busy as ever!

We were given several pieces of office equipment.
All are placed and being used.

Chairs and carrier were also given
and have already been used many times.

Activites
Baby showers: one down, two to go!

One of our church members passed away,
and we had a two day funeral service.
Two of his daughters are members of Victoria as well.

One of the families from our church had a combined
quinceaños (15th birthday)
and renewing of wedding vows for their 25th anniversary.

The next day there was another quinceaños in Luis Moya.

Junior camp

Eight of our church kids (three of them being ours) went to camp this week.
Only two of them had been before.  It was a good experience for all of them.

Exciting News!
A new church building:
Mount Zion Baptist Church

The outside patio will need some cleaning up.

It is a fairly large building.
Facing the front

In the back corner there's a bathroom.
We just poured the floor, but the toilet still needs to be installed.

We had to run the electric before we could do anything else.
Something about heights and electricity causes us some nervousness, but
"You gotta do what you gotta do!"

We split the room right down the center with dry-wall.
The left side will be fellowship/classroom space; the right side is the auditorium.

We were grateful that several church members from Victoria came to help with the new work.
We make it very clear that it is an out-reach of Victoria.

Looking toward the back: the bathroom is on the left.
Where the wall division ended we put another room in the back right
for the nursery/classroom.

Our first service (informal) at Mount Zion's new building

On the family side

We've been able to build something in our living room
that we've been wanting to add for a long time.

Another of Judah's adventures...

but he's still smiling...kind of.

In the last months we've been blessed to be able to be with the entire family on both sides.

Thank you for your prayers and interest in this ministry.
Now that we are home we will try to be more faithful with our picture up-dates.
